1st anniversary!

Dave and I celebrated our first anniversary yesterday. It's hard to believe a whole year has passed already. Just shows you that we're good together, I think. :)

We celebrated by going to the Southside Works. We went to see Adventureland at the movie theater. It was filmed at Kennywood in Pittsburgh. It was an ok movie. Then we went to Cheesecake Factory. Dave had never been there before. The food was delicious and of course we got a slice of cheesecake (to share). Then the Penguins played their 3rd playoff game and we had a beer at the brand new restaurant (beer garden), Hofbrauhaus. It's not the best place to watch a game although the German atmosphere is pretty cool.

That was all in the early afternoon. So our dinner was year old frozen wedding cake. I figured it would taste disgusting but it was actually pretty good! I was surprised. Even the icing, and the raspberry filling in the middle. We didn't eat any cake at our reception except what we fed each other, so it was nice to have some of the cake. The rest is still in our refrigerator, so I'm sure I'll be eating more later this week.
