Weekly run totals/exercise week of 4/30 and 5/7

The week of the half marathon I ran 13.21 miles for the half and 1.06 miles almost a week before that for a total of 14.27 miles the week of 4/30.

The week of 5/7 I took time off of running.  I did some cross training (exercise bike) and stretching to try to heal my left calf/knee.  This was at the suggestion of the sports doctor.  I saw him on Tuesday after the half and he said I can start running again this week (5/14) but I should start out with every other day: 1 mile run, 1 mile walk. If I still feel like I want to exercise after 2 miles, the bike it is.
