I'm using my blog to try to keep accountable. I'm finding it very difficult to work out/run with a baby now. I really need Dave around to watch him and nursing also throws a wrench in there too (as far as timing). But my goal is to run the Hershey Half relay (half of the half) in October of this year.
I found a Couch to 10K program here and decided to try it.
Week 1 Day 1:
Plan: Run 1 minute. Walk 2 minutes. Do this 8 times.
Actual: 26:00 2.06 miles, 8 minutes running and 18 minutes walking (alternating per the plan for the most part)
Week 1 Day 2:
Plan: Run 1 minute. Walk 2 minutes. Do this 6 times.
Actual: 21:00 1.67 miles, 7 minutes running and 14 minutes walking (alternating per the plan)
Week 1 Day 3:
Plan: Run 1 minute. Walk 2 minutes. Do this 7 times.
Actual: 23:00 1.843 miles, 8 minutes running and 15 minutes walking (alternating per the plan)
Total miles week 1: 4.573
Total time week 1: 1:10:00
You got 3 workouts in. and the plan said 3. Keep it up.

I need to add dates to these. I think these 3 workouts were over the course of 8 days. The 2nd week I've only done Day 1 and that was over a week after Week 1 Day 3. I know this isn't the way things are supposed to work. Oh well. I'm doing what I can! :)
