| 31 weeks 5 days |
Size of baby: A squash and measures 30 cm or 11.8 inches, crown to rump length. Head to toe is 16.7 inches. The baby also weighs 1900-2000 grams or 4.2-4.4 pounds. (At my appointment earlier this week though the midwife said he's something over 3 pounds. Don't ask me how she could tell just by feel but that's what she said.)
Total Weight Gain/Loss: I gained 1 pound so I'm up 22.5 pounds.
Maternity Clothes: All maternity clothes now.
Gender: It's a boy!
Movement: We attended the first day or our "having a baby" class and she asked when they move. My response was, pretty much anytime I'm still. I hope that doesn't mean we're in for big trouble and that he's never going to sleep. Although my parents would probably tell me that it serves me right. I don't know how I was as an infant but I know I never really took naps and drove my poor mom nuts. Anyway, he moves a LOT still. And seems to like to do it when I'm sitting in a meeting trying to talk. The worst part is that I can see it- I have no idea if other people can see it as well. He seems to hate me lying down in bed and pushes really hard against the sheets which sometimes makes me jump. And kicks/jabs are getting a lot stronger. Sometimes I can even feel bulges and things like that.
Sleep: I fall asleep quickly but am starting to wake up again to either pee or because my stomach is growling.
What I miss: I'm starting to feel a lot more tired in general. I know this is only going to get worse. I miss being able to eat as much food as I want. If I eat too much I seem to get nauseous.
Cravings: Anything sweet!
Aversions: None.
Symptoms: I'm getting more clumsy. I'm going to blame that on a center of gravity shift. ;) My stomach keeps getting bigger and although I can still get up and down off the floor, it is starting to get harder. Shifting around in bed from one side to the other is also interesting now- I usually pause to psych myself up and then move.
Best moment this week: We went to Late Nite Catechism at City Theatre and it was great. We've seen the Christmas show before but it's always fun.

It's hard to believe you are 32 weeks already.
