We went to the amusement park Kennywood to see East Winds play on the 4th of July. East Winds is the community band/wind ensemble that Dave and I used to play in. I even jumped in on a song (sight read) with my bright pink shirt. It was great to play again. No pictures of me playing, though.

We went to two Pirates games this week. One on Sunday and then again on the following Saturday.

ReplyDeleteThat was a super drained, late nap sleep. The game on Saturday was better timing. The Sunday game started at 1 and he naps at 12:30 so missed his nap overall. The Saturday game started at 4 so we didn't leave our house until he was done with his nap (but he slept LONG because of Kennywood the day before and we missed the start of the game). Now I wish we had bought more 4:00 games instead of 1:00 games!
DeleteOh and Kennywood was the same thing. I forgot I had two napping on us pictures. He was so tired he collapsed both times and then didn't sleep long enough either time. We take what we can though. ;)

ReplyDeleteThanks for the idea! I don't think normally I'll have this many pictures. I just included July 4th, etc instead of making a separate post for those. I have a few posts already lined up, scheduled.

Alas I cannot take credit for the weekly phone picture idea. It was actually part of a link up of weekly phone photos that I participated in. Since then the original blogger has stopped posting her weekly photos, but I decided to keep at it. There are a few other girls who do the weekly phone photos still, too. I can give you their blogs if you want to follow them. It's a fun way to stay in touch through pictures :)
