I'm starting to remember the feeling of your stomach getting in the way. I still have a lot of growing to do but for the first time in the shower I got annoyed that my stomach area was too high. Oy if I'm already irritated I'm really in for it as I continue to grow!

| Woo hoo! My first non-selfie bump picture |
Size of baby: A cauliflower and measures 25 cm or 9.8 inches, crown to rump length. Head to toe is 14.5 inches. The baby also weighs 1000-1100 grams or 2.2-2.4 pounds.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: I lost half a pound this past week so I'm up 8 pounds total now.
Maternity Clothes: All maternity. I'm finding I'm sick of my clothes from last time. What's up with that?
Gender: Boy.
Movement: I'm feeling the movement on both sides of my stomach. My last appointment she thought he was kinda crooked with his butt on one side and his head kind of low but off to the side. Usually when they turn or something you can feel it, so I'm guessing he's in the same position right now.
Sleep: I have been waking up in the middle of the night again and not able to sleep for a few hours. I do eventually fall asleep again but it takes awhile.
What I miss: Having time for myself but that is not really pregnancy related.
Cravings: Sugar, chocolate, candy! I'm starting to cut back thinking about the glucose test (1 hour) which is scheduled next Tuesday. Yikes. They SAY you can't sway the results but I'll do what I can.
Aversions: Nothing.
Symptoms: I'm getting slower and bigger. I know I'm not really THAT big yet but I'm definitely feeling it. And if I don't eat my energy is just shot. Neil still wants to be carried a lot and only by me. I guess I spoiled him unfortunately.
Best moment this week: We were out of town for a few days, and it was so nice to be home and in our own beds. Neil's schedule was really off and he was tired of traveling so it was nice to have him in his own bed, too.
Looking forward to: Christmas, which is this week!
Same this time: Still tired!
Different from last time: I think in general I eat a lot better because of Neil. I try to make sure he gets fruits and vegetables with every meal as well as protein. It helps force me to eat better, to some extent. I say to some extent because sometimes he eats all the fruit and/or vegetable I put out. But other times he doesn't eat it all and I finish what is on his plate.
Oh and different, I forget a lot to take a pre-natal vitamin. Not good.
