The trolley ride itself is fun. It's short, and Santa spends half of the ride on half the trolley saying hi to the kids and the other half of the ride on the other half of the train. Neil couldn't take his eyes off Santa the entire trip. We sang carols and had a lot of fun.
They have another building with crafts (too old for Neil still), hot chocolate, cookies, and a Lego train set with planes and other lego things. This was a hit both years for Neil as well.
This year we realized they had another train ride- it was the Yuletide train or something like that. So we hopped on there. It was really short but at the turnaround the crew did a little skit thing about Santa's naughty and nice list. Neil didn't pay any attention to it.
I found our pictures from last year and never posted them on this blog. Here are comparisons from a year ago.

You both have the same jackets both years!
ReplyDeleteHaha yeah, we don't outgrow our coats and tend to wear the same ones! That's my basic winter coat. Neil's is actually different but they were both Steelers. I got different sizes on sale at one of the stores so he has them for a few years.
DeleteI realized Neil's was different. My winter (warmest) coat is the same for the past 12 years or more. I did get a new pea coat after 5 or 6 years but still have my old one so I have coat variety.
DeleteI had to look closely because the jackets were the same! ha
DeleteI do have some coat variety but mostly I wear the same one all the time. I guess my hair looks pretty similar too so that doesn't help either.
