Sunday morning I had to take care of something at work. Dave was playing at the church near work and they practice before the service, so Neil and I headed to work while Dave was practicing. Neil loved my office, especially the keyboard. (My laptop was not docked or I wouldn't have let him touch the keyboard.)
We went out to eat after church and I just love how Neil shows so many expressions. He kind of looks like he's upset in these pictures but he isn't, he's just being exuberant.

On Saturday we went to a pumpkin patch. I didn't realize Dave has never been to one before. Separate post to follow.

I love how many pictures there are of you guys reading to Neil :)
ReplyDeleteHe loves to read. It's part of the bedtime routine but he's also pulling out books, reading them himself (kind of), and asking us to read to him. He has a lot memorized too and will say parts of the books haha. I'm glad he loves to read so much. I was the same way (I was reading myself very simple books at 3 and always had a book in hand. Too busy now.)
DeleteI love the pics in your cube. Ella loves keyboards too.
ReplyDeleteI don't think my Dave was ever to a pumpkin patch. I brought up how multiple people asked if we were taking Ella to a pumpkin patch and my mom thought that was crazy (that we'd go) no wonder my gram always took us. I'm pretty sure my mom thought it was stupid back then too.
Was the steelers bib special since it was Sunday or is he in it often?
Yeah we can't keep Neil away from computers so it's hard to work at home if he's in the same room. He also wants to help.
DeleteI dunno, I always liked the pumpkin patch experience. When I went it was with Girl Scouts or something though. Did you guys carve pumpkins?
The Steelers bib is one of our favorites so he wears it a lot. There are 4 favorites- Star Wars, Super Heroes, Steelers, and Penguins. We rotate those through and use others sporadically.
My gram took us yearly and each kid always got a pumpkin then we carved them at home and cooked up the seeds. So my mom still had to deal with our mess. We might not have done it yearly but fairly often. I remember while at the pumpkin patch my gram always commenting how it's just wrong that my mom doesn't want to take us and every kid needs a pumpkin. i wonder if my mom knows about that.
DeleteElla has 2 bibs she uses. We have 3 alike but somehow lost one before we even started feeding her. I want more. I love that they wipe off and have a little pouch. We have these other ones but they are stiffer and ella's height is exactly weird so the stiff pocket hits her tray exactly wrong.
