| We have been going through and getting rid of stuff. I decided to finally purge my huge book collection. We had them in a storage place, and I went there to really go through everything. This is just some of the books, the overflow into the hallway. Sad, I know. I'm starting to feel like a hoarder. |

| Thanks to Giant Eagle savings, I got gas for $0.479 a gallon! Awesome. |

I told Dave you were purging your books and he yelled "NO! Why would anyone do that?" Then said "Books are the best thing to collect.
ReplyDeleteYeah it's crazy. But I have the Kindle now although that's a LOT to add to the Kindle. I had collections of authors. I won't tell you in numbers what I pared down. It was kinda sad. But I'm trying to get weight down as much as I possibly can for this move.

DeleteSo he found our moving paperwork and said he almost recycled it but thought you migt be interested so he saved it. It's on my desk but I haven't looked yet.
I love all the paintings. You should hang some up at hte new place so it's just like you guys right away.
ReplyDeleteYou mean the ones that Neil did? That's a good idea actually. I didn't think about it. I am actually getting handprints to do something to thank daycare. So I'm going to be cutting those up and adding to them.

Yeah I had a really hard time with the books. People think I'm crazy for holding onto them but I actually read them over and over. But they've also been boxed up for quite awhile at this point as well. I didn't get rid of all of them and they are being donated (to a friend and the ones she doesn't want to a library). So hopefully somebody will enjoy them.
DeleteYeah that cup is really nice- it has a penguin inside to encourage them to drink. Neil loves it. And is somewhat ok with the cup itself although he still tends to knock cups over so most of the time we use something with a cover.
Dave had a friend in high school who had built in bookshelves in his house with tons of books since then Dave wanted walls of bookshelves with books he's read. We also have a lot of books. I probably only have 10 in the collection!
