| Apparently I'm growing a cat out my belly now. |
Size of baby: A butternut squash and measures 27 cm or 10.6 inches, crown to rump length. Head to toe is 15 inches. The baby also weighs 1300-1400 grams or 2.8-3.1 pounds.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: I did not gain or lose since last week so I'm still up 8 pounds total. (This is the 3rd week in a row I've been the same. And the week before that I was down half a pound. Not sure that's good...?)
Maternity Clothes: Yep.
Gender: Boy.
Movement: Anytime I sit still I'm feeling movement. It's nice because if I just pause I know the baby is ok.
Sleep: Well I caught whatever Neil and Dave had. So I'm feeling pretty miserable. Sinus headache, sneezing, etc. It makes it really hard to sleep. I'm resorting to Benadryl.
What I miss: Being able to take decent medicine when I'm feeling sick. :)
Cravings: Not really anything.
Aversions: Nothing.
Symptoms: My gums and nose are bloody but I also have a cold so that could be part of the problem. My stomach seems higher this time around and I find it annoying haha. It feels too high. This baby must be sitting higher. My fundal height measurement is actually bigger than it should be by about 2 cm. It's supposed to track the number of weeks. So last week at my appointment I was 28 weeks and should have measured 28 cm. I measured 30 cm.
Best moment this week: I passed the 1 hour glucose test! I am so relieved. There should be no more blood draws unless something comes up.
Looking forward to: The weather warming up again. It has been bitterly cold!
Same this time: Last time this week was when I failed the 1 hour glucose test so I didn't put much in my weekly status. But this seems to be the same from week to week- tired, stomach feeling bigger, etc.
Different from last time: Last time I feel like my acne really cleared up and this time I'm having some issues. I think I got spoiled before. My skin is also super dry so that might be part of the problem though.

My acne was so so bad when I was pregnant. It was awful!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe the weight gain or should I say lack of. So I went to check mine. 29 weeks was 20.9 lb gain (http://scrapandrun.blogspot.com/2013/10/29-weeks-oct-10.html)
ReplyDeleteI looked at mine from my pregnancy with Neil and I was up 15 pounds at this point with Neil. But nobody has said anything... yet. My next appointment is next week (day after 30 weeks). Being sick hasn't helped with weight gain either. I'm not feeling hungry.
DeleteI did reply to your comment, Julie, but it looks like it never went up and right now when I hit reply it won't let me. Weird.
ReplyDeleteYeah I hate acne. I've always had issues anyways. And all the hormones mess with that as well. Yuck. I always thought you were supposed to OUTGROW that after puberty. Not me!
