I wore the same shirt as last time on purpose and I definitely think I look smaller than I did last time, even in general. It could be partly how I'm standing, I'm not sure.
Size of baby: A cucumber and measures 28 cm or 11 inches, crown to rump length. Head to toe is 15.75 inches. The baby also weighs 1500-1600 grams or 3-3.5 pounds.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Well I've been feeling even more sick the last week and lost 2.5 pounds. As of right now I'm up total 5.5 pounds. I've been having a hard time eating, breathing, and sleeping, so I'm pretty sure I'll gain it back fairly easily/quickly.
Maternity Clothes: Yep. They are somewhat loose on me still but I'll catch up. I have about 10 more weeks to do that.
Gender: Boy.
Movement: I feel it most often when I'm going to sleep at night or if I wake up in the morning and don't get out of bed. This baby is still very active
Sleep: I have had a really bad cold that the medicine I can take is not helping and until last night I just could not sleep because I couldn't breathe through my nose at all. My lips are so dry that they are cracked and bleeding (from mouth breathing partly I think). Thank goodness finally last night I actually slept well for the first time this entire week. I just said to Dave I don't feel like I'm ever going to feel better.
What I miss: Being able to take decent medicine when I'm feeling sick. (Same as last week.)
Cravings: Nothing, I've been having a hard time eating.
Aversions: Nothing.
Symptoms: Honestly feeling so sick has outweighed most else. I have seriously forgotten constantly that I'm pregnant.
Best moment this week: Today- I can't believe I'm in the 30's now. WOW. This pregnancy really is flying. I know I've said it before and I know it could still be up to 42 weeks pregnant. I really hope this pregnancy continues to fly! I'm not one of those women who loves being pregnant. I love feeling the movement but other than that I'd rather have a baby in my arms cuddling with me.
Looking forward to: The theme of the week is sick, sick, sick. I can't wait to feel like I can breathe normally again. This is a really nasty cold.
Same this time:I didn't sleep well last time, either. It was for different reasons, but still. This week both times I said I was looking forward to sleeping better.
Different from last time: Last time I was kinda complaining about my back and stuff like that. This time I really do forget that I'm pregnant a lot of the time. I know, these last two categories are getting really repetitive aren't they?

Wish I was there to help somehow. Hope you get to feeling MUCH better really soon. Hard to do all that you do feeling healthy. Love you! Mom
ReplyDeleteIt will be in my next update but I'm finally starting to feel better. I still am stuffed up and it's hard to breathe at night. It's been over two weeks. I just can't kick this.
DeleteWhen I was at 32 weeks, I heard similar news!
ReplyDeleteI feel like your hair looks so dark when I compare it to Neil's.
Well mine is also highlighted and my recent highlights were to darken it on purpose and put some red in. So this isn't my natural hair color.
DeleteAlso, my hair was blonde when I was younger and it darkened when I got to school age. Dave and I both had blonde hair but his always stayed lighter where mine really darkened. It will be interesting to see what happens with Neil's. (His is also lighter because of all the sun he got this summer- what's growing in isn't quite so blonde.)
I've had a terrible cold/flu all week, too. It's too bad you can't take medicine. I remember that from pregnancy. No fun.
ReplyDeleteI think your belly looks so much bigger in the picture where you're holding Neil.
What is it with all this sickness going around? It feels like it's worse this year for everyone! Or maybe that's just me. I keep hearing how everyone is sick though.
DeleteHaha yeah when I hold Neil I'm shoving my hip out or something to try to balance him and it definitely does make my bump look bigger.
