32 weeks

It's crazy how I've been preoccupied with other stuff this pregnancy. I have to say though that I still feel more emotional although I *think* I'm holding it together better this time. But with moving, saying goodbye to friends, realizing I'm not going to have a chance to say goodbye to other friends, etc... Last night I stubbed my toe and cried. Granted, it hurt pretty bad and I thought I got my toenail, but it wasn't worth crying over! Geez. But there is a LOT going on all at once and sometimes it does get to me.
How many weeks: 32

Size of baby: A squash and measures 30 cm or 11.8 inches, crown to rump length. Head to toe is 16.7 inches. The baby also weighs 1900-2000 grams or 4.2-4.4 pounds.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I gained 2 pounds so I'm up 10.5 pounds total.

Maternity Clothes: Yep they fit pretty well right now, for the most part. Some of my pants are too big at the top.

Gender: Boy.

Movement: Neil used to keep me company during my drive to work (and home too). This baby keeps me company in the evening and all night. All night. LOL.

Sleep: I finally feel better! My nose is still a bit stuffy but it doesn't keep me from sleeping anymore. And amazingly (knock on wood) the baby moving isn't really waking me up that I'm realizing anyways. I'm sleeping pretty well at this point. Crashing as soon as my head hits the pillow. I am waking up before my alarm goes off although if I didn't have to get up for work I'd be rolling over and going back to sleep.

What I miss: Running! I kinda want to do it again but I have a feeling with all my stomach growth since I last run I might feel a lot of round ligament pain. Plus the weather has been bad and since we run in a parking lot at work it's not really safe at the moment. But we'll see.

Cravings: Nothing,

Aversions: Nothing.

Symptoms: My gums have been bleeding again lately. I am also at the point now that people who didn't know I was pregnant are commenting on the pregnancy. This is the sweet spot. I'm not swollen (yet) or HUGE (yet), but I do definitely look pregnant at this point. With the start of real weight gain though I'm guessing that this won't last very long.

Best moment this week: We've been trying to see friends to say goodbye and I'm thankful for the ones I'm getting to see and say goodbye to. I'm not singling anybody out though as the best haha.

Looking forward to: Well they will be packing us up this week and loading the truck the day I turn 33 weeks. So these posts may disappear and I may not have pictures the next couple of weeks. We'll see. I'm both looking forward to and dreading moving. I will miss so much here. I know I sound repetitive.

Same this time: Last time I talked about sitting in meetings and seeing Neil (my stomach) move. I can see it move through my clothes now and was thinking this was earlier but I guess not.

Different from last time: Wow is my weight change so different. Last time I was up 22.5 pounds at this point. Wow. I think I calculated wrong though; I have a chart I made to compare pregnancies (that will not be shared, it has actual weights) and that says I was up 18.5 pounds. Still, that's an 8 pound difference. (I think I really screwed up my weight change just because I wasn't sure what to count as my pre-pregnancy weight. The chart I have, I used to actually record my weight weekly anyways, so I used that for my comparison from this pregnancy to last.)

Also, last time I was saying I couldn't eat as much and was feeling nauseous at times. I don't have that issue this pregnancy.

    1. Thanks! At least all this chaos will be over in a week or so now. :)

  2. Last time you weren't sure which weight to choose. You chose one and the midwife center said the other one was better based on the timing of the weight so then that's where the 4 lbs came in. You kept it consistent so it seemed like you gained 4 lbs more in all the posts but I think when you learned from the midwife center you updated your spreadsheet.

    1. Yeah well actually the midwife center was tracking the weight I gave them. Then I admitted it was my weight at _ weeks. I think it was my weight when I got my positive pregnancy test. I actually dropped even further than that. They told me at that point that it should be pre-pregnancy weight even if that's higher so we adjusted there but I think on here I kept it so it wouldn't be confusing. My original spreadsheet had actual weights so I just used those and ignored my calculations in my new spreadsheet comparing the two.

      Long winded there, isn't that?
