Pittsburgh Zoo

Neil and I went to the zoo again before it closes for over a month. It kinda stinks they're closing- I actually am taking some vacation and really wanted to go there during vacation. But we went when the zoo opened and I think for a little bit we were the only visitors there- I only saw zoo staff other than us. It was really warm out - in the 50's (for January?!) but a bit rainy. And because this was the last day they were open, a lot of things were cleaned out and animals were away. But at the same time with the warm weather some animals were out that hadn't been out the last time we visited.

Kimodo Dragon

I have taken his picture next to this almost every time we've gone

Looking at the elephants (4 more are out of shot)

Posing with the giraffes

He kept kissing the fish

Posing with the fish- he wanted to be carried though so he wasn't in a good mood here

Look at the big footprints!

He went in this on his own- I have past shots here as well

At one point there was a downpour and we were luckily inside. He spent probably 10 minutes playing with the water fountain.
You'd think he's look at sharks, the otter, or the polar bear. Kids.

I did get him to look at the sharks eventually

    1. Yep this was our last time since they are closed from January 5 through sometime in February. I'm so glad the weather cooperated so we were able to make it.

    1. Yeah I love the Pittsburgh zoo! We'll see how the zoo is in Connecticut hopefully. :) I will really miss our aquarium.
