We started out the week with a zoo visit, which was posted separately

It's been so cold. Neil loves wearing winter hats though even in the carseat
We went to Sesame Street Live. I don't think the pictures are good enough for an entire separate post. Neil really liked it. He lasted well the first half but seemed to be tired the second half. He sat on my lap the 1st half and was up and down the second half. (He did have his own seat.)

Our view- we were about 5 rows up so we didn't have people right in front of us

Waiting for it to start
Neil slept in a toddler bed for the first time! We kept trying with his real toddler bed but realized it's too much change. New bed, different room, etc. Plus the crib was still up. So we converted the crib into the toddler bed and he went right in.

Sleeping in the converted crib
We skipped a toddler bed and just converted the crib. Mostly to save money. But also I figured it'd be a smoother transition. We'll see how going from crib to twin bed goes in a few days!
ReplyDeleteI love the picture of Neil and the adding machine. Pulls at my accounting heart strings :)
Yeah that's what we would have done if timing had worked out but we wanted the crib for the next baby. (Or we'd still be using it as a crib as well.) I can't wait to see how your transition with Parker goes (went?)!
DeleteAnd timing wise a friend was selling her toddler bed just as we were talking about how to handle the crib situation so we bought that bed from her, used. In hindsight with this move (didn't know about that then) maybe we should have done this- convert crib, then transition to twin after we move. But you always do what seems best with what you know at the time! I just wish I could lay in bed with him and there's no way in a toddler bed.
